Vivint Reviews
Friday, July 6, 2012 17:20Previously known as APX, the home security and automation company Vivint has been making a name for itself in this sector for the past 13 years or so. In fact, well over half a million homes around the country – specifically in Utah where the company is based – enjoy Vivint products and not necesarily security related either. Even though the vast majority of their equipment has got security in mind (motion sensors, CCTV, advance alarm systems etc…) there is a big part of their business that deals with automation and making your home easier to manage with items such as wireless locks and weather alerts.
However what we are going to look into here is the accusations in some Vivint reviews that the company is actually conducting some sort of scam against its customers. While this sounds ludicrous for a start it is helpful to dismiss this with as much evidence as possible to ensure that this myth does not start to be thought of as reality.
If a company with close to a million customers starting scamming on a large scale then this is going to send shockwaves around the market. The very fact that the home security market is growing on an annual basis and more and more people are now turning to home security products to protect thier property should tell you that no scam is going on here. Additionally, Vivint has been certified by J.D. Power and Associates in 2009 as having outstanding customer service. Indeed, this is not the only award that the company has won recently and Customer Digest was quick to point out that Vivint offer the best value on the market in terms of the price that you pay as well as the quality of the product and level of customer satisfaction.
