Blogreplica.com is an ambitious project aiming to provide
a robust online backup service for blogs.
Weblogs constitute a young and dynamic media type which has become firmly established as a web based communications tool. There are currently 112.8 million weblogs according to Technorati; statistics which undoubtedly prove the wide acceptance and dynamic evolution of blogs.
Despite this fast growth of the Blogosphere, there is still no effective solution for
ubiquitous weblog archiving, digital preservation and dissemination. Current blog archiving tools and methods are ineffective and inconsistent, while preservation methods for blog data have not yet been duly considered.

simple yet
powerfull web application which bloggers could use to create an online backup of their blogs.
